What to Bring & What to Know
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID and your insurance card. Just as important, bring any outside imaging on a disk or CD — or the actual MRI or X-ray images, not only the written report. Dr. Gomoll needs to review the images themselves. If you'd prefer, you can upload your imaging ahead of the visit.
Where is the office, and how do I get there?
The office is at the Hospital for Special Surgery, East River Professional Building, 523 East 72nd Street, 2nd Floor, New York, NY 10021, on Manhattan's Upper East Side. See the locations page for a map, travel, and lodging information.
How soon can I be seen?
Most new patients are seen within 1–2 weeks. Out-of-town and international patients are welcome — call (646) 917-7441 if you need help coordinating travel around your appointment.
