Dr. Gomoll's research mission is to develop less invasive, more effective treatment options for joint injury and arthritis — and to bring those treatments to patients faster. He has lectured in over 20 countries on ligament and joint reconstruction, cartilage transplantation, and sports medicine, and authored 170+ peer-reviewed publications.
Why we do research
Helping patients to get better is the most important — but not the only — part of our mission. We also conduct basic science and clinical research to develop tomorrow's treatment options that will be less invasive, more effective, and offer faster return to full function.
