Why rehab protocols matter
Surgery is teamwork between the surgeon, the patient, and the rehabilitation specialist. Dr. Gomoll's protocols are written specifically for the procedures he performs, so your therapist knows exactly which motions, weights, and timelines to follow at each phase.
Most outpatient PT begins within 1–2 weeks after surgery — see our after-surgery instructions for the full recovery timeline, and bracing & ice machine for cold-therapy and brace use.
